These are not last year's pair, because they are so bashful and reluctant. But they do know me and my call, and fly to the magnolia whenever I come outside. We feel like, once the eggs hatch, their timidness will turn into something more like desperation for mealworms. By the end of this post, you'll see why!
Meet Mom and Dad.
Dad
Mom
Here is their home, on the grape arbor, on the bayou side of the house.
Now, I'll show you how productive...or reproductive they have been! Monday, March 21

And now, you can see how busy they will be! Mom just started sitting on the nest, once all the eggs were in place. We figure Yonge's Stop and Shop will be the happening place, with Bluebirds and Bourbon!
Spring has sprung! And the blue birds are making whoopie! What a treat to participate in their lives- providing them with a home and mealyworms. For thanks they let you get close. WOW! Can't wait to see more pictures!
